This project involves pump system improvements, including the installation of three new submersible pumps in a modified wetwell.
New discharge piping, valves, and related components will also be added, along with a weatherproof enclosure for an engine-driven backup pump. The existing drywell will abandoned, and all previous pumps, piping, valves, and related components
will be removed, including the fuel storage tank.
Electrical upgrades consist of the installation of new pump motor starters and controls, an emergency generator with an integrated fuel tank, a manual transfer switch (MTS), and an automatic transfer switch (ATS). Furthermore, the existing building will undergo structural, architectural, and mechanical repairs and enhancements, including roof replacement, interior/exterior painting, the installation of new doors, and the addition of a split air conditioning unit. The project also includes miscellaneous site work, restoration, testing, startup, and training.
